Susan McHattie is a Director of the United Nations Association of Australia, the 'friends' of the UN in Australia. UNAA delivers programs to engage, inform and inspire Australians about the role of the UN in creating a safer, fairer, more sustainable world, and the important role Australia plays as a member.

In her professional life Susan works with public, private and social sector clients to set direction, determine pathways and deliver results. Assignments include scaling a social enterprise, resetting strategy and governance for an international association and defining Circular Economy strategy and roadmaps for Sydney Water.

Susan is passionate about how we engage, in communities and across sectors to secure the future for people and planet. She draws on work experience across community and public sector settings including place making, regional and state planning, and collaborations across cultures, disciplines and sectors.
