Silvia is a registered Arts Psychotherapist with over 10 years’ experience in the mental health and community arts sector. She is enthusiastic and deeply committed to fostering personal and social change through creative expression and collaboration, with a passion for empowering individuals and communities to reach their fullest potential. Silvia enjoys working to bring people together, celebrating their diversity and collectively addressing challenges.

Drawing on a diverse background in expressive arts, psychotherapy and counselling, Silvia employs a holistic and inclusive approach to art therapy. Through various artistic modalities and therapeutic techniques, she encourages clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and experiences in a safe and non-judgmental space. Her primary goal is to enable self-discovery, build self-esteem, and promote acceptance and personal growth.

As a community artist, Silvia believes in the transformative power of art to break down barriers and forge connections among people from different backgrounds and walks of life. She has organized interactive workshops, community projects, and art exhibitions, in Togo, Nepal, Switzerland, Spain, Scotland, England and Australia, that encourage participants to embrace their creativity and find common ground through artistic expression. These initiatives foster a sense of belonging and understanding, creating opportunities for personal and communal growth.
