2019 Speakers

National Community Engagement for Infrastructure Forum 2019 Call for Speakers is now CLOSED

The National Community Engagement for Infrastructure Forum (NCEIF) is a two-day program that aims to deliver thought provoking, interactive and informative sessions that are relevant to current issues and practices within the engagement and infrastructure sector.  Sessions should be tailored to inform, educate and better equip attendees for current and future projects and opportunities.

The theme for 2019 is:

Wellness – What does it mean for community engagement for Infrastructure?

The program will be centered around three focus areas:

  • “Core Strength” Getting the fundamentals right – communication tips, tools and techniques
  • “Detox” What happens when things go wrong and how to recover
  • “Balance” Expectations, budgets and work-life balance

Real-life examples, “war stories”, case studies, successes and failures, examples of actual tools and insights on emerging issues is what we are looking for.

Sessions should be designed to encourage interactive audience participation by including small group discussions, exercises and other activities to interject energy and promote dialogue.
